The Yamaha U2 upright piano is just right, it is 50" in height, a perfect in between the U1 at 48" and the U3 at 52". The piano has been factory refurbished by Four Star Premium Piano Service, they're the leaders in piano refurbishment.

The Four Star factory technicians go through every piano and complete the following process.

  • Major structural components are inspected (soundboard, pin-block, bridges) to be certain they are free of problems 
  • Tuning stability is tested and approved, both up and down torque
  • Hammers are inspected for the correct firmness and shape, assuring full and proper contact with the string
  • Felt and wool action parts inspected and serviced, replacing any found to be in less then excellent condition, this includes key bushings, punchings, back-check felt, practice felts, etc.  
  • Action adjusted to within original specs.
  • Interior and exterior fully cleaned 
  • Exterior cabinet buffed and polished to a cosmetically beautiful state.
  • Brass hinges, pedals, lock assembly and harp cleaned and polished.
